When A Giant Tree Fell

When a giant tree fell
It crashed silently in the forest
The strong thud was never heard
Because it was deep, very deep
In the distant mountains.
It was just for a moment,
The creatures heard the crash
But it is just like a rustling of the winds,
The strong cascade from the falls,
The strong sway of the breeze
That chimes with the snow
I still quiver with the cold
summer rains that came
unannounced at the end of spring
like the news of your death,
rest my friend and comrade,
the jealous one,
I treasure your memories,
I envy your dedication
A true servant and a fighter
For the people.
