Go Against the Tide.

Some ask the questions:
why are those suffered great sacrifices
are the ones being accused of heresy,
maligned and lied at?
why are those who were loyal
and steadfast are now called
the "rejectionist" or counter-revolutionaries
by those who never knew how to wage
a revolution or went through one?
and why are those who called themselves
revolutionary vanguards
are the one's who repeat the silly mistakes
and who only loved to self-praises
and do not want to be criticized?

He who talked about the giant oak tree
can never be toppled by dwarfs
have forgotten what Mao said
that the giant trees cannot be felled
by swift winds from above but
surely will be felled by the slow winds
accumulated from below.

I dont know but it might be the law
of history that those who stood
for what is right will surely suffer
while those who postures in authority
while always be deaf and blind to the truth
away in their ivory towers
away from the cries of the people
and their real leaders
while their subalterns enjoy the lust
of power and greed of glory
in their orgies for flesh,
authority and money.

What more sacrifices
they want? how many lives
must be lost and work to be done
or blood be shed so they can see what is right
and correct the errors they have wrought?

Yes, even the moon can eclipse the great sun
and the clouds can hide the stars during
the darkest night
But that what it takes to stand
for what is correct and fight for what is just
to be a revolutionary is not to let
injustice to oneself pass...

If then what worth is life
that is not laid for a good cause
yes, it is hard to go against the tide
but what a relief to get to the safe bank
after riding the wave
and daring the current

Thanks, and a million thanks
to all the masses and comrades
who gave us the their trust
you filled our hearts with love
to dare and go against the tide,
Yes, revolution is not a picnic
and more than writing poem
and just being inspired,
it is life, itself to live for.
